Attention: Do not reuse the insulator, replace it with a new one.
Union nut for expansion valve and evaporator inlet pipe:
: 9,8-19,6 N-m (1.0-2.0 kg m)
Union nut expansion valve and evaporator:
: 14,7-24,5 N-m (1.5-2.5 kg m)
Fan controller (automatic air conditioner)
To access, remove the left cover of the rear air conditioner.
Thermostat (manual air conditioner) or intake air temperature sensor (automatic air conditioner)
Preparatory work
Remove the front evaporator.
Attention:
Make alignment marks on the thermistor section.
Do not rotate the thermistor section during removal and installation.
Replace the pad with a new one.
Cabin air temperature sensor (automatic, air conditioning)
Preparatory work
Remove the lower section of the dashboard from the driver's side.
Outdoor temperature sensor (automatic, air conditioning)
Sunlight intensity sensor
Before removing the sensor, remove its trim.
Refrigerant pressure sensor and hydraulic switch
1. Discharge the refrigerant into the HFC-134a recovery/charge unit.
2. Remove the front grille.
3. Unscrew the sensor/switch.
Caution: Apply compressor oil to the new sensor/switch O-ring before installation.
Sensor/switch:
: 9,8-11,7 N-m (1.0-1.2 kg m)
