When disassembling and performing maintenance on the drive shaft, the following precautions must be observed:
If possible, carry out work in a place protected from dust and dirt.
Before disassembly and maintenance, clean the outer surfaces of the parts.
Take into account that no foreign objects should get into the place of disassembly and maintenance.
The disassembled units must be carefully reassembled in the correct order. During a break in work, the parts must be covered with clean material. Paper materials should be used. Fabric must not be used, as the remaining fibers may affect the performance of the parts.
Details (except rubber) should be cleaned with kerosene and then dried with compressed air or wiped with paper towels, wrapping paper, newspapers, etc.
