If the idle speed of the cranked motor exceeds 2,500 rpm (e.g. selector lever is in neutral position and crankshaft speed exceeds 2,500 rpm) the fuel supply must be cut off for a while. The exact timing of the fuel cutoff depends on the engine speed.
The fuel cut-off works until the engine speed drops to 2,000 rpm, after which the fuel supply is resumed.
Note. This function is different from MFI deceleration control.
