Back cover
Attention. In some modifications, the removal of the rear cover may be difficult due to the ring used to fix the outer ring of the rear bearing. To facilitate removal of the rear cover, heat the section of the bearing block with a 200W soldering iron. Do not use an industrial hair dryer for heating, as this may damage the diode bridge.
1. Install brushes, diode bridge assembly, voltage regulator assembly and stator.
2. Press the brushes in with your fingers and install on the rotor.
Note. Be careful not to damage the friction surfaces of the slip ring.
Rear bearing
Attention.
- Do not use rear bearing after removal. Replace with new.
- Do not lubricate the rear bearing outer race.
Front cover
1. Place the rotor in a vise.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the rotor. Use copper plates or a thick cloth as a lining between the vise jaws.
2. Using a suitable tool, remove the pulley cover.
