Attention.
- Drain the coolant only after the engine has cooled down.
- Do not allow coolant to come into contact with drive belts.
2. Turn the front wheels of the car to the right.
3. Remove the front right fender liner.
4. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts before loosening the drive belt.
5. Remove the drive belt.
6. Remove the water pump pulley.
7. Loosen the water pump mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure and remove the water pump.
Note. When removing the water pump, coolant may leak from the cylinder block, so you must first substitute a reservoir to collect it.
Attention.
- When handling the water pump, do not allow the vanes to come into contact with any other parts.
- The water pump is not disassembled and, if necessary, must be replaced in one piece.
