Check the radiator for dirt or deposits. If necessary, clean the radiator as described below. Be careful not to bend or damage the radiator tubes. When cleaning the radiator without removing it from the vehicle, remove all surrounding parts such as the radiator fan and horns. Insulate the harnesses and connectors with tape so that water does not get into them.
1. Direct a jet of water at the side of the radiator core vertically from above.
2. Rinse each section of the surface of the radiator core for a minute.
3. Stop flushing if the dirt no longer flows out of the radiator.
4. Blow air through the side of the radiator core vertically downwards. Use compressed air at a pressure not exceeding 490 kPa (4.9 bar, 5 kg/cm2) and from a distance of at least 30 cm.
5. Blow out each surface of the radiator for one minute until the water is completely drained.
