Note.
- Quick couplings do not require tools when connecting pipelines.
- Unlike conventional unions with unions and nuts, quick couplings do not require torque control.
- To disconnect the quick coupling, use a special puller.
Attention.
When replacing or cleaning parts of the air conditioning system, follow the instructions below:
- When the compressor is removed, store it in the position in which it is installed on the vehicle. Otherwise, oil will enter the low pressure chamber.
- When connecting pipes, always use a torque wrench for tightening and a wrench on the other side for holding.
- After disconnecting the piping, plug all openings immediately to prevent dirt and moisture from getting inside.
- When installing the air conditioner on a vehicle, connect the pipes last. Do not remove sealing caps from other parts unless required for connection.
- Parts stored in a cold place should be allowed to warm up to room temperature before removing the sealing caps. This will prevent condensation from forming inside the air conditioner elements.
- Thoroughly remove moisture from the air conditioning system before charging with refrigerant.
- Always replace used O-rings with new ones.
- When connecting pipelines, lubricate the circumference of the O-rings with oil as shown in the figure. Make sure that oil does not get on the threaded part.
- The sealing ring must be firmly seated in the pipe groove.
- When replacing the O-ring, be careful not to damage the O-ring and piping.
- Connect the piping until it clicks into place, then tighten the nut or bolt by hand until snug. Check the correct installation of the sealing ring on the pipeline.
- After connecting the line, check for leaks and make sure that there are no leaks from the connections. If a refrigerant leak is found, disconnect the line and replace the O-ring. Then tighten the connection to the specified tightening torque.
