Stubborn dirt can be removed from carpets with household or car shampoos sold in aerosol form. Follow the manufacturers instructions, then vacuum the mats and «ruffle» them with a stiff brush.
Most of the interior panels are covered with vinyl upholstery, for which many special cleaners and shampoos are available - ask at car accessories stores. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and test the new compound on a hidden area of the upholstery before starting a global cleaning (e.g. underside of cushions or underside of seatbacks), determining its ability to cause discoloration and other undesirable effects.
After cleaning, vinyl upholstery should be treated with a protective compound.
Note. Before using for the treatment of seats, read the annotation to the composition - not all of them are suitable for this, making the seats too slippery.
Attention! Do not protect the steering wheel vinyl wrap.
Leather upholstery requires special care. It should be cleaned regularly using saddle soap or special cleaning compounds. Never attempt to remove stains from leather upholstery surfaces with alcohol, benzene, nail polish remover or leather thinner.
After cleaning, regularly treat the leather upholstery with special conditioners, which should be rubbed with a soft cotton cloth. Never attempt to treat upholstery leather with body panel wax.
When leaving the car standing in the sun for a long time, try to cover the illuminated areas of the leather seat upholstery with something.
