Caring for Vinyl Trim Panels

Do not use laundry detergent, caustic soda, or gasoline-based cleaners to clean vinyl panels. For this purpose, regular soap in combination with warm water is perfect. Stubborn dirt can be easily removed with a soft brush (with water and soap).

Cleaning of vinyl panels is carried out with the same frequency as washing the rest of the surfaces of the car body. Once the cleaning is completed, anti-oxidation and cracking can be prevented by coating the panels with high-quality protective compounds for rubbers and plastics. The same formulations can be used to treat body seal strips, vacuum lines and rubber hoses, which are often degraded by environmental chemistry. Solutions are also suitable for tire treatment.
