- With vertical movements of the front and rear axles while the vehicle is moving, the length of the cardan shaft varies accordingly due to the use of a sliding joint equipped with splines from one end of the assembly.
- The cardan joint consists of a cross, four needle roller bearings with cups fixed with retaining rings.
- Front propeller shaft on models with utility bodies (Utility) and mini truck (Cab Chassis) equipped with a double cardan joint, which is an assembly of two universal joints. In case of obvious wear or damage to the double universal joint, the shaft must be replaced as a set.
- When repairing universal (cardan) hinges, it is important during the disassembly process to take care of a clear marking of the relative position of all flanges, holders and sleeves - during assembly they must be installed exactly in their previous positions.
