When purchasing spare parts, as well as when concluding an insurance contract and registering a car, information about its identification numbers may be required. The rooms are in the following order:
The engine number on 4.2 liter models is stamped in front on the right wall of the block, next to the distributor. On 3.0 liter engines, the number is stamped on the back of the left wall of the block, under the exhaust manifold flange.
Nameplate with manufacturer's information (manufacturer, model, number of seats, chassis number, date of issue and Australian vehicle design requirements (ADR), to which this vehicle corresponds, is fixed on the right side of the bulkhead of the engine compartment. The chassis number is also embossed in front on the right longitudinal beam of the car frame, near the radiator.
The tire data plate is fixed on the inside of the glove box cover and contains information on the tire size, wheel rim size and tire inflation pressure.
The vehicle identification plate contains information about the vehicle type, engine type and displacement, identification number, paint and trim codes, transmission line and axle codes, and manufacturer's name and is attached to the right wing mudguard, behind the windshield washer fluid reservoir.
The date of manufacture of the car is also indicated on the nameplate attached to the left side of the front panel of the car.
