Note. To remove the steering wheel, you will need a special puller.
Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. On models with center horn button, carefully pry the button from the side with a flat bladed tool and remove it from the handlebar (see accompanying illustration).

3. On models with screw fastening of the horn button, use a short screwdriver to loosen the fixing screws under the steering wheel.
4. Disconnect from the button electroconducting.
5. Mark position of a steering wheel on a shaft, then give a fixing nut.
6. Using a special puller, remove the wheel from the steering shaft.
Note. Do not knock on the end of the steering shaft, as this is fraught with damage to the column.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
1. Lubricate the turn signal switch return cam on the back of the steering wheel with multipurpose grease.
2. Achieve the combination of alignment marks applied during dismantling and seat the steering wheel on the shaft.
3. Check the operation of the return mechanism of the direction indicator switch and tighten the steering wheel nut with a force of 29 ÷ 39 Nm.
