Attention! Cardan joints on parts of cars cannot be replaced. Before dismantling the cardan shaft, consult your parts supplier.
The retaining rings of the bearings of the crosses are selected according to their thickness. In order not to upset the balance of the driveshaft, new cross-piece retaining rings must be exactly the same thickness as the ones being replaced (see technical data).
1. Mark the relative position of all parts of the hinges.
2. Clean the fork of dirt and remove the retaining rings (photo).
13.2 To remove the circlip, knock it out with a hammer on a screwdriver
3. Knock out the frog bearings by hitting the fork with a soft-faced hammer (photo).

4. Remove the cross.
5. Check the play of the bearings in the necks of the crosspieces, replace the worn parts.
6. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
13.6 Fitting the circlips
Attention! Lubricate the circlips with grease before installing Install the circlips in their original positions (photo), given that the thickness of the retaining rings diametrically opposite bearings should not differ by more than 0.06 mm.
