Power steering pump — removal and installation

1. Pump and tank change together.

2. Unscrew the locknut of the belt tensioner pulley and loosen the belt by turning the bolt counterclockwise, remove the belt

3. Loosen but do not disconnect the hoses from the pump.

4. Raise the pump with a tank, substitute the pallet, finally disconnect the hoses and drain the liquid. Plug the hoses.

5. If necessary, remove the pulley with a standard puller.

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Adjust the belt tension before tightening the bolts. Fill reservoir with fluid and bleed air.
