Clutch Pedal Height Measurement (H)
1 - Pedal support bracket; 2 - Stopper for adjusting the full stroke of the pedal; 3 - Pedal shoe pad; 4 - Floor panel; 5 - Polymer flooring; 6 - Carpet; 7 - Insulating gasket
Pedal Height
1. With the clutch pedal released, measure the distance H from the surface of the rubber lining of the shoe to the floor.
2. Compare the measurement result with the requirements of the Specifications, if necessary, make the appropriate adjustment.
3. Loosen the pedal stop/ASCD switch locknut.
4. Rotate the stop/sensor-switch to achieve the required position of the pedal.
5. Tighten locknut and recheck pedal height setting.
Pedal free play
1. Lightly depress the clutch pedal and measure the length of its stroke until resistance occurs. Compare the measurement result with the requirements of the Specifications. Make appropriate adjustments if necessary.
2. Loosen the locknut of the master cylinder pusher and, by rotating the pusher rod in the appropriate direction (clockwise or counterclockwise), achieve the desired result.
3. Tighten locknut securely and retest.
