2. Prepare a supply of fresh gear oil of the required grade (see specs) and other necessary tools and materials (see Section Checking the level of manual transmission oil).
3. Oil should be drained after being preheated to normal operating temperature during a short trip. Hot oil has a higher fluidity and is better at flushing out sludge and other deposits. After warming up the transmission, park the vehicle on a hard, level surface, jack it up and place it on jack stands so that the crankcase drain plug is easily accessible.
4. Remove the drain plug and drain the oil into the prepared drain container.
5. Screw the plug back into place and tighten it firmly.
6. Unscrew the filler plug and, squeezing the walls of the container, pump the required amount of prepared fresh oil into the gearbox crankcase. The level can be considered normalized when the oil begins to flow out through the bottom edge of the hole.
1 - Fill up to the bottom cut of the hole
2 - Control / filler hole
7. Screw the plug back into place and tighten it firmly. Lower the car to the ground.
