2. While pressing the stop plate, move the adjusting tube in the direction of T (to gearbox).
3. Release the lock plate. The adjusting tube will lock into position.
4. While pressing the lock plate, quickly turn the throttle control sector from position P2 to position P1. The adjusting tube will move in the direction U (to the engine). Cable travel L should be 40-42 mm. Make a mark on the cable to make the measurement easier.
Adjusting the cable travel should only be done after installing and adjusting the throttle cable.
The throttle cable should only be connected to the sector manually, without the use of any tools.
5. After adjustment, secure the cable with clamps. The cable should be as straight as possible.
Tightening torques for bracket fastening bolts, Nm:
- Models 34X70 and 34X80 - 15.7-20.5
- Model 34X81 - 4.4-5.8
If the cable travel is not adjusted correctly, the following problems may occur.
- If the position R1 shifted too far in the T direction, switching will be carried out along a curve (2). At the same time, the mode range «kickdown» expand greatly.
- If the position R1 shifted in the U direction, switching will be carried out according to the curve (1) and turning on the mode «kickdown» will turn out to be impossible.
