Adjustment of a course of a gear wheel of a starter

Disconnect the wire from the M terminal and apply voltage to the traction relay to extend the gear. Press the gear back to select the backlash and measure the gap between the front end of the gear and the stop. The gap value is given in subsection «Data for adjustments and control».



If the gap does not lie within the specified limits, bring one hundred back to normal by installing the adjusting disk on the traction relay.
