Check steering column bearings. They should rotate evenly and not be damaged. Lubricate bearings with recommended grease or replace steering column assembly if necessary.
Check the steering shaft cover for deformation and damage. Replace it if necessary.
After a slight collision, check the control dimension L.
- Steering column length - 533.0-535.0 mm
If the length is not within the specified limits, replace the steering column assembly.
After installing the steering column, check the operation of the tilt mechanism.
