- Oil leakage in the places shown in the figure.
- Deformed or damaged drive pulley.
- Low performance.
Disassembly
WARNINGS:
- Dismantle the pump in the cleanest possible place.
- Wash your hands before starting disassembly.
- Use a nylon cloth or paper towels to wipe; do not use ordinary rags.
- Keep foreign particles out of the pump.
To remove the drive shaft, remove the circlip and press the shaft towards the pulley.
Use a screwdriver to remove the seal. Be careful not to damage the pump housing.
Be careful not to drop the valve when removing the connector and spring flow valve.
Examination
Replace the drive pulley if it is deformed or damaged.
If an oil leak has been noticed around the drive shaft seal, replace the seal.
If the drive shaft splines or the drive shaft itself are deformed or worn, replace the drive shaft.
Assembly
Install only new O-rings and seal.
Pay attention to the direction of installation of the oil seal.
The rotor, cam ring and plates must only be replaced together.
When assembling, lubricate all flying ATF.
Pay attention to the direction of installation of the rotor. A mark is stamped on the side facing the pump body.
The rounded surfaces of the plates must face the stator ring.
When installing the stator ring 3, first insert the pin 2 into the groove of the pump housing.
